bream fishing - daymere - 12-11-2003 bream are a hardy fish that a easy to catch when you use the easiest bait crickets as they are a great bait for bream ,catfish,and other varitys of fish i use them like this use along shank hook and weight and cricket and it works great. [signature] Re: [daymere] bream fishing - JapanRon - 12-11-2003 Hey there daymere, I remember using long shanked hooks for live minnows under a bobber with a long, long leader at lake up just north of San Francisco that is famous for Speckled Crappie. Fun fishing watching the bobber skitter across the water in that first sudden rush. I too have not heard of bream in California but some use the term somewhat like panfish.
