Hey has anyone been duck hunting clear lake lately? Is it all frooze up?Would like to shoot some more ducks befor the real ice fishing starts when the berry and fishlake freezes.

This year Clear Lake is nearly bone dry. Where there is water, it is no where near any cover and the mud is DEEP. It's not holding many birds at all.

Clear Lake has been pretty good this year. There is ice on it but as last week you still could break it up and throw out the dekes.
Last weekend was slow hardly any birds flying but like I mentioned it has been pretty good so far this year.
