Decided since I have been very slow since Christmas that I would go out today and do a little trip for some supper. It was a little slow to start with but they got better as I moved around and got into some current. The crappie were easy to find but not so easy to get to hit. They were stacked out in about 8 to 20 feet along areas where there were rock drops. I caught them on a 10 to 15 count mostly. Went to four places and caught fish in all four. I boated around 50 to 60 crappie and bought home a nice limit. Culled a couple times with a couple big ones but mostly just had fun catching them.<br /><br />Used a crappie assassin in ghost dipped in chartreuse. On four pound high viz line with a 1/32 oz head. You had to be patient to let it get deep enough in the strike zone. Very enjoyable afternoon and had some fresh crappie for supper tonight. emoHungry
