Henry's Fork - costanza.1980 - 02-18-2014 I'm not familiar too much with fishing Henry's Fork, but a friend of mine had some luck yesterday and I want to give it a shot. The regs say that from the "Del Rio Bridge upstream to the Vernon Bridge" I can keep 2 16" + trout. Where are these bridges? I live in IF so I'm not too familiar with the north fork. Also, any help with bait would be great. Thanks. On the old hyway . To get to Vernon Bridge you turn west in Ashton between the forest service building and the A&W . That was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! That map on pg 39 shows you exactly where the different bridges are. On another note, I really love fishing the Henry's fork. If you fish above the hwy 20 bridge, there always seem to be nice browns and pretty cutts in that stretch. Vernon Bridge is one bridge south of the one straight west of Ashton . [signature] Re: [cpierce] Henry's Fork - curt69 - 02-19-2014 You are correct the map on 39 makes it easy to understand the boundrys . I have not fished above Chester Dam to Ashton Dam . I have fished around the Fun Farm a lot . [signature] Re: [cpierce] Henry's Fork - costanza.1980 - 02-20-2014 I did miss that page. Sorry 'bout that. Thanks for the help. Hoping to pull a couple in on Friday. [signature] Re: [costanza.1980] Henry's Fork - cpierce - 02-20-2014 Love to hear how you do. Good luck! [signature] Re: [cpierce] Henry's Fork - costanza.1980 - 02-23-2014 We pulled in 2 small brookies. 10"ers at best. But you know the saying "a bad day fishing beats a good day working." [signature] Re: [costanza.1980] Henry's Fork - curt69 - 02-23-2014 I think the fish in the picture is a Brown trout , not a brookie . [signature] Re: [curt69] Henry's Fork - costanza.1980 - 02-23-2014 I'd never caught a brown before (being new to this area) so you're probably right.
