The Berry - whatyausin - 05-11-2014
No ice left in Renegade Bay where we fished today. In fact I did not see any ice at all. It was pretty breezy from 10-2pm with only brief periods of relief. I did manage to land and release a bow and cut. Both were caught at a 22-25 foot depth. The rainbow fought for 5 minutes and the cutthroat seemed rather lethargic even though it was larger. Still a great day out with friends.

Would have to assume Bryant's Fork is also ice free ??

I didn't see ice anywhere. There wasn't any snow on the side hills either.

I fished Renegade from the shore on Thursday. Still some ice but it was soon blown out by the wind. The DWR posted a photo taken on Tuesday and there appeared to be a good amount of ice. It went fast!

I heard the ice went off Chicken Creek last Tuesday, not surprised with all the warm temperatures we had in April. I wonder if there is still some ice on the Soldier Creek side?
