Orofino Salmon Trip - Tazasorus - 06-01-2014
Just got back from Orofino Salmon Trip. Spent a week in the area fishing the North Fork and the main Clearwater. Fishing on North Fork was extremely slow. We landed three keepers in three days of fishing, 14 hours of fishing a day. The water was beginning to come down on the main Clearwater so we tried a spot we know of and had some really good success. I hooked four on Thursday finally landing a sixteen pounder on the fourth fish and on Friday hooked three landing and releasing a wild and then following that up with another fifteen pounder. I hooked eight total for the week landed four and taking home my possession limit. Had a great time fishing with my dad, brother, and dear friend. I am posting a link of a video from one of my fish...it is really long but you won't believe how I landed my first fish. He got away but I still caught him! Take a look! Your right...last thing you would want to happen was having that line wrap around your hands when the fish goes for a run.
