How's the catfish fishing at Willard been? - swiftra - 06-13-2014
Was thinking of heading to willard tonight and try my luck at some kitties. Has anybody been out lately? Is it even worth the time? Went out about a month ago right after that cold spell and nothing was wanting to play so was hoping to get some updated info. Not asking for location just wondering if it is any good. But if somebody does feel like sharing a location I wouldn't complain. [
] I usually fish the S.W. corner or the south marina, but seems like willard is always changing. Thanks in advance![signature]

Catfishing is really picking up, the spawn should be coming up soon and the SW corner is a good location to chase some cats. Good luck.

Actually ended up at the South Marina. 3 hours of fishing and caught 5 between 3 of us. 3 made it all the way to shore and 2 got off early for bad behavior. We were using worms and stink bait. Most were caught on the stink bait. Fun times nothing real big but all had fat fat bellies.
