Kick up on motors with power tilt - 2dogs - 07-14-2014 Hey all, I recently purchased a boat with a motor that has power tilt on it and am concerned that there doesn't seem to be a release on the motor to allow it to kick up should you hit a rock or hard object the way my tiller steer did. Is this the way all console steer power tilt motors are? Not good for the lower unit if so. With that said it would be slow to react and the damage would likely be done. [signature] |
