Lost Creek Report 7/21 - DKStroutfitter - 07-21-2014 My son and I took the boat to LC today. Used the down riggers and did well for the Cutthroat Trout. None over the slot but we boated over 20 very beautiful fish. We started with squids and small spinners with dodgers and then switched to Rapalas. Both rigs worked but the Rapalls did better later in the day. Fish were deep. Most were caught at 40' or deeper. Speed was between 1.2 and 2.5 mph. Water temp was 70* There was only one other boat on the water today. [signature] Re: [DKStroutfitter] Lost Creek Report 7/21 - RILEYFISH - 07-22-2014 Sounds like you had a great day Dale. You make me wanna hit it on the hard deck though. [signature] Re: [TyeDyeTwins] Lost Creek Report 7/21 - Ton_Def - 07-22-2014 Now you're talking! Where we were catching fish 3 weeks ago was void of active fishies and so we had to go hunt them in deeper water. Sure is a nice place to go for smaller boats. Glad you found them and they were willing to play. [signature] |
