Uintas - flygoddess - 09-02-2014 Hit the Uintas for a short time Sunday. Cold!!! Windy and rain, but felt good. Baxter loves it up there. Crowded as all heck but it was Labor Day weekend. Finding a place to fish with no one near to get hooked, plus swirling wind is always fun. I tried an Olive Caddis #14 and hooked up first cast. Caught mostly Tigers, The Olive Caddis turned off, so I tried a #16 Royal Wulff. Fished that the rest of the hour. One little Grayling Baxter was really good on this trip but still let everyone know when I hooked a fish! [signature]
