strawberry/dc - Flyfishinglover - 09-05-2014 Just basically took a trip to strawberry float tubed out in 20-25' of water and sure the cutthroats were jumping right and left for flies. End up catching 2 cutties at 18" on a mosquito and many hit and miss. Tried woolly bugger but the hit's were to soft. After the wind picked up on the way home dropped to dc with not a single bite. When I talked to one group I just laughed so hard how they said he caught a brook trout then looked at it and it was a cutthroat. Maybe some people need to read the proclamation after 10 year of not fishing a reservoir and what's the size limit with colorful pictures to identify the fish [crazy]. One big pelican festival by chicken creek. Just found it in the river bed of wallsburg [laugh] [inline "echo and strawberry 9 04 14 013.JPG"] [signature] Re: [Flyfishinglover] strawberry/dc - sinergy - 09-05-2014 Good looking fish ya got there now that the kiddies have gona back to school and the cooler months are here I may need to take a trip up to the berry.
