Hyrum at 18% ??? - toadly - 09-12-2014 I was looking at the different lake levels at the Bureau of Rec. Web site [url "http://www.usbr.gov/uc/water/basin/tc_wf.html"][/url]http://www.usbr.gov/uc/water/basin/tc_wf.html[/url] and saw that Hyrum was listed as 18% full... Can anyone verify that?? didnt think it was THAT low... I am looking forward to Ice fishing season this winter but looks like a low water year will make fishing options few and difficult.[fishin] [signature] Re: [toadly] Hyrum at 18% ??? - guitarfisher - 09-12-2014 I'm also curious about Hyrum water level. The Utah State Parks web site reports 65%, as of earlier this week. I think the deepest spot I graphed was 33'. My trailer dropped off the end of the long ramp as I launched my boat. Kind of slow day, we only got 6 bows in 2.5 hours. Biggest was a fat 14"er most were 13" so they are getting better size, but it wasn't fast action like other trips there. Here's a few pictures of structure out of water now. The BOR site shows available water for use, that means either down to the c pool or dead storage if there is no c pool, which ever comes first. Scofield Reservoir is also at 18%. We better get an above average winter or we are all going to have to find a new sport. [signature] |
