David called at 5 AM or so, pouring rain at his place in Graysville, was I sure we wanted to fish ? Told him the boat was hooked up, and it was dry in Hixson. By the time he got here , it was sprinkling. Ran a very sort distance, and fished the weed edge. Had our only keeper by 7 :35 AM, 2.62#. Hit a square bill I got in a consi draw from a prior CFF tx. We were in 12 FOW. Had several others as company, including the college anglers. Went out in Wolftever, marked fish, but couldn't buy a bass. Hooked a stripe out there also. It rained on and off the morning, but turned into a great day to be on the water. Congrats to our winners, their first CFF. Ya'll shoulda come out and played.
