Work has been slow this week and today I got caught up with what I had this morning. Decided to go fish a little this afternoon. The storms have really messed up our grass. emoAngry A bunch of it got clobbered yesterday and today it was gone in several areas. Still was able to find a few bass willing to play in the grass that I could fish. There was some really high winds and waves to deal with today and it caused some places I wanted to fish to not be good locations. The overcast sky with mist rain I feel may have helped the bite some. Was able to put nine bass in the boat and lost at least that many trying to get them up and out of the grass. Never found the magic bait or the mother load. Picked one up here and there at several different locations. My best five would have broke the 17 lb mark anchored by a nice hog at 6/1. <br /><br />All bass were caught in or around the grass in anywhere from 3 to 8 feet. Most on top water offerings. Here are a couple of my better fish. emoThumbsup Jmax
