drumking, Chickamauga, Crappie, 10/12/2014, Dr Phillip Gawthrop - FishNews - 10-16-2014 Dr Phil and I fished the Forgotten Child tournament and had a fun time. We caught over 20 keepers, but we couldn't weigh in but 7 and those biggest 7 were only 5 lb 1 oz. Our big fish that I had located decided to take a holiday, so we were left with a bunch of 10-11 inch fish. Our biggest fish was 12". Lots of fun fishing today and counting all the shorts, we figured that we easily caught over 50 crappie and 2 white bass that schooled very close to a brush pile that we were fishing. We picked up our spare rods and cast into the melee and each hooked up a white bass. Congratulations to the winners and what a great turnout for the Forgotten Children. I am so proud to be a part of this undertaking. emoBig emoGeezer |
