Killed a few hours this morning on the Weber in the canyon, weber has not been good to me the last few trips but I am a glutton, on the water at 8 off at 1. Started kind of slow, had 3 on but all came unbuttoned, switched to an olive bugger and got one to stay on then no more takers, switched back to nymphing and found some nice runs.
Caught a bunch of average size browns and some bruiser whitefish, hot bugs were BH Hares Ear, Grey WD 40 and Black Zebra Midge emerger, nothing but browns and whiteys until I got a cast into a log jam and pulled out a nice Bow'...anyways caught a lot of fish and missed a lot more, water is low and clear, no spawners yet that I saw.
