Kingfish, Chickamauga "Wham Bam" Crappie, Fat Crappie, 10-18-2014, Jerry - FishNews - 10-19-2014
Jerry and I picked the garden this morning. We had our first limit in 1 hour and 20 minutes. On 3 occasions we both caught keeper size Crappie. At the end of the morning we caught 35 Crappie with 30 keepers. (Picture attached). <br /><br />The water temp was 67*. Because of the light breeze and water current I fished with a 1/16 oz. jig with a BGBS. We only fished 2 deep water bluffs. <br /><br />Jerry just knew he was going to show out and catch another 3 lb. Crappie today. He did not bring the right color of jigs so I shared some of mine with him. They cost more on the water I told him. lol <br /><br />Most of the fish measured 11&quot; to 12&quot; long. Nice fat Crappie. Good times!
