Heading up to Quail creek for the weekend, looking for some tips and tricks from those with prior success up there. Will have a Hobie kayak with me, ultralight spinning gear.

Well, I was only there for an hour or two after getting skunked at Sand Hollow that morning. I caught a couple bass on a black and blue jig, including a 5 pounder. I was shore fishing and caught them in the bushes that stick out of the water along the shore. Let us know your results please. Good luck.
