Crawdad Cove 10/24-10/27 - syncityangler - 10-28-2014 it's been a while since posting anything truth is I've been so busy at work no free time it's been over a year since my last outing. but vacation time has arrived. and we hit the lake on Friday for some well deserved R&R. not expecting to catch anything, we ended up with 3 catfish to take home. My daughter caught her first Largemouth bass on a drop shot from shore, my son caught 2 of the 3 catfish, some crawdads that he ate with potatoes for breakfast in the morning and a bird. I ended up with 1 cat and a soft-shelled turtle, and some shad... the shad were so thick I could send a treble hook out and snag them every cast. but not one striper in sight. the carp were everywhere but not interested in biting at ALL. great 3 days we had a great spot right on the water, granted it was 50+ feet lower than our last time out. enjoy the pictures [fishon] [signature]
