strawberry help - Jeremypalms - 01-03-2015

I am taking a few people from my street ice fishing but they want to fish Strawberry which I have never been good at! I have only caught one fish there ice fishing. I don't want to look like a fool when I am ice fishing up there, so if you guys have any tips or ice condition reports on whats safe that would help out a lot!

oh one of the guys wants to bring his 4 wheeler but is the ice safe enough for that or can we drive around the lake to a better spot that is frozen?

Thanks everyone!

Try white jigs tipped with just about anything and I wouldn't take a wheeler out just yet. I've been out the last two days at different locations and the ice ranged between 1.5" to 4".

I would agree with kbfan white or pink shrimpo paddle bug or tube jig otta do the trick add a meal worm [Wink] atv for pulling the sleds back wouldn't chance it on 2-4" of ice good luck
