The top is good and firm, however, the ice thickness (on Cascade) continues to be 4" in the near shore areas, thinning to three and a half inches at forty yards out. Remember that the 4" that charts suggest is safe is for individuals. Groups need a little more. Snowmobiles and such need somewhat more yet. Please be cautious. The conditions there have improved a lot. I'd say about 5 inches of ice. Fishing wasn't so good, though.
