Soldier Creek 2/1 - SBennett - 02-02-2015
Fished SC today from 9ish till 2:30ish.
Caught 6 cutts and one small bow. One of the cutts may have been out of the slot. All fish gently released.
1/2 caught on small orange jig and other 1/2 caught on yellow hair jig. Both jigs tipped with waxie or chub. Fish showed a slight preference for the chub. All fish caught on the bottom.
Met Pikeman and his friends/family today on the ice. They are a good bunch of people.
I haven't ice fished that reservoir since our airboat club took Doug Miller up there to film one of his tv shows.

Thanks for posting your report Shane, sounds like a decent day on the ice. I remember watching that Doug Miller show with him fishing the Berry with airboats to get to the spot. I bet it is a rough ride on an airboat, while going access the ice[:/].

Yes it was nice meeting you to Bennett we ended up catching 9 between both tents. 2 keeper rainbows. Pretty slow day for us. But it was a beautiful day and a good time to get out.
