Buoy-Master, chick, crappie, 2-8-2015, Patrick Owensby - FishNews - 02-09-2015 Well...after a bad back summer and hunting through fall and winter, the Stratos got.back on the water since spring 2014. Wasn't a bad start either.<br /> Pretty much stayed in the same area from 9:00 - 11:30. Had to use a slip bobber about 4-5 feet above a Jig head with several differant colored BG baits. Patriot worked we for me then it just tapered off. Threw some chartreuse at times and anything with alot of pink. <br /> Size wasn't too great maybe a 11 inch average but we had a few over 12 and 2 over 13. Might have had maybe 6-7 that wouldn't measure. Brought 30 home for the freezer because there's nothing like cold water crappie. <br /> Had a great time and I'm hoping...PRAYING...my back holds up for many more trips this year.
