Brownlee? - hooknhunter - 02-11-2015

Haven't heard much about Brownlee in quite some time. Anyone have any news? I hear the crappie should be so-so to decent this year.

Is that the secret code for it's on fire? Bummer I was hoping for a fresh report.

CJ was good on Friday if that counts for anything. 4-6 crappie (don't recall exact number), 2-3 SMB's, and about 2/3 of a bucket full of tasty perch.

Re: [AverysAdventure] Brownlee? - Spoons - 03-02-2015

I almost went over yesterday but stayed closer to home. I did get a report from the Hitching Post in Richland on Saturday. They said people are catching crappie in the Powder River arm, but they still have been deep. Supposed to be in the 8 inch range.
The report from Scotty's store in Pine Creek, Oregon was that people are also starting to catch some perch.

That's encouraging. Thanks Spoons! Think I'll stay home this weekend(mon-wed) to do taxes and change oil in the toys. Weather is looking way better next week.

CJ Was good today for Dad and I. Even Split of Perch and Crappie. Most of the fish were pretty deep 30' or more. Water temp was up to 50 for a while there.. until the wind kicked uphttp://www.bigfishtackle.com/photos/data/500/medium/158.jpg

Thanks for the post. It's good to see that there are some nice size crappie out there. I've got to ask, what is going on up on the top right corner of that picture?
