Help with fish ID from Electric lake - klam - 02-15-2015 Caught this fishing at Electric today. Not sure what kind of fish it is or if it might possibly be a hybrid. Snow and ice conditions were great. Fishing was slow. Didn't see tons of fish on the finder either. Did better in shallow water. [signature] Re: [klam] Help with fish ID from Electric lake - Fishrmn - 02-15-2015 Kokanee. They have been stocking them in there the last 3 years now [signature] Re: [klam] Help with fish ID from Electric lake - DVanValkenburg - 02-15-2015 Yeah That's a kokanee. was up there this year trying to get some. [signature] Re: [klam] Help with fish ID from Electric lake - albinotrout - 02-16-2015 Interesting koke you got there. Might I ask what you caught it on? [signature] Re: [albinotrout] Help with fish ID from Electric lake - klam - 02-16-2015 White tube with black flecks, tipped with a wax worm, dead sticking. [signature] Re: [klam] Help with fish ID from Electric lake - kochanut - 02-16-2015 Chupacabra [signature] Re: [klam] Help with fish ID from Electric lake - Theekillerbee - 02-16-2015 Do you have another picture of the tail? Kokes have a pretty distinctive "V" shape to the tail, and that particular fish looks to have a flat or squared end to the tail. [signature] Re: [kochanut] Help with fish ID from Electric lake - pookiebar - 02-16-2015 Best answer!! [signature] Re: [Theekillerbee] Help with fish ID from Electric lake - klam - 02-17-2015 Here is another picture of the fish. The body proportions just don't match up. And it was quite a narrow fish. [signature] Re: [klam] Help with fish ID from Electric lake - wiperhunter2 - 02-17-2015 Tiger trout generally have square trails so maybe it is a strange looking koke. Here is a strange shaped tiger.
