I did fish it last year but that was in August and I was not successful at all with Crappie or bass. I did troll for them a little but I was focusing on other fish [bob] [signature] Re: [hooknhunter] Crane creek? - hooknhunter - 03-23-2015 Finally made it over there on Friday. Fishing was very slow. We did get a few smallish crappie, a small zombie, and we snagged a few carp. There are carp everywhere. I'd imagine that the crappie fishing could be decent once the water warms up a bit more. No bass yet, but perhaps later in the season. Don't recall exact water temps, but it seems like it was around 52-53 degrees at the warmest. We saw another boat head up to the other end of the res.. We shot carp, caught a perch, a bullhead and a channel. The crappie are there and active and chasing but not biting.. How was the other end of the reservoir? Was there an inlet? I fished it the Friday before last Friday also with no luck for crappies.
