[signature] Re: [Lech456] First LMB for 2015 - Flyfishinglover - 03-19-2015 It's pretty fun but sure would take a carp on a fly rod over a bass[laugh]. It's a Redington Cross water 9ft 6 weight fly rod. And if you and Remo put a trip together let me know, I would be interested in coming as well. When you go fishing on those lakes near your place for bass, how do you fish it and what do you use? I have never fished for bass but I would like to try sometime and I am a little lost. [signature] Re: [Lech456] First LMB for 2015 - Flyfishinglover - 03-20-2015 Fish off a steep rocky area where it drops off pretty fast, if you see a big boulder cast a little further out from it then try to get your fly as close to it because the bass love sitting under the boulder rocks, or in semi shallow but got tree and those tall grass in the water. Strip nice and slow so your fly is on the bottom or even using a thingamabober is a great thing to always have with you while fly fishing. Go to fish tech and grab a few white and yellow thingamabobers in small and larege size. I like to use #2 - 12 wolley bugger in black, red, white, green color, #4-8 Crawdads, frog popper, and clouser minnows. When it get's warmer so maybe somewhere in April or May time I'm more than willing to show you a few tips and trick. If you got a float tube East canyon can be a great place to find some nice bass range from 12-18" [ ![]() [signature] |
