Logan River or Blacksmith Fork - grunttwice - 03-27-2015 I'm heading up to Logan on Sunday and thought I would do some fly fishing. I was wondering what river is fishing best right now and if anyone has any advice for either. Thanks in advance. If I end up hitting the blacksmith tomorrow I'll post how it goes. [signature] Re: [ddmoogs] Logan River or Blacksmith Fork - grunttwice - 03-28-2015 That would be awesome, thanks. I'm leaning towards trying Blacksmith Fork. Any idea what would be working? I'd guess midges and maybe BWO's, but I was at a fly shop today and they recommended salmonfly nymphs as well. Thanks again. [signature] Re: [grunttwice] Logan River or Blacksmith Fork - ddmoogs - 03-29-2015 Fishing was pretty good. I used stonefly nymphs and midge dries. My buddy did well just using a pheasant tail. [signature] |
