Logan River or Blacksmith Fork - grunttwice - 03-27-2015
I'm heading up to Logan on Sunday and thought I would do some fly fishing. I was wondering what river is fishing best right now and if anyone has any advice for either. Thanks in advance.

I think they're both fishing pretty well right now. If I end up hitting the blacksmith tomorrow I'll post how it goes.

That would be awesome, thanks. I'm leaning towards trying Blacksmith Fork. Any idea what would be working? I'd guess midges and maybe BWO's, but I was at a fly shop today and they recommended salmonfly nymphs as well.

Fishing was pretty good. I used stonefly nymphs and midge dries. My buddy did well just using a pheasant tail.
