The lake was filling around 3+ inches per day, but has now slowed down as they have opened the canals that are fed by the NY Canal before the water gets to Lake Lowell. Yesterday the level went up a little over an inch. The lake is a bit over a foot from being full. This water level is above the average for the date. The lake level will probably not start to drop for a month or so. Met a nice guy fishing, he had a few good bites, I finally had one take my senko and tear it in half. We both wished we had some waders or a pontoon to get out deeper (and the ability to retrieve my lures would have been nice).
