LED lighting for boat - bvpatten - 04-24-2015 I went cat fishing with the boy out on UL the other evening. we stayed until 10pm before heading in. One thing was apparent as soon as the sun went down, I need more lighting on the boat! We had head lamps and a battery powered lantern but it was still a pain watching 4 poles at the same time, almost gave myself whiplash! I have seen some led set ups for boats, does anyone have them on their boat? How well do they work? Also I am thinking about a led spotlight for the front of the boat. It would be nice to be able to see the wave patterns and any floaters while running in the dark. Thank you for your input. Also if you get a red or orange colored light the bugs will not bug you as much....
