Back up to Huntington / Cleveland and a small excursion - MacroGuru - 05-27-2015 Huntington Reservoir gets the best of us again. I had two nice cuts on, big and feisty but my leader snapped both times. I was pissed. I was using a Wooly both times. But we managed to land 1 nice trout on Cleveland Reservoir. We then went through the mountain towards Scofield and fished the river between Electric Lake and Scofield. I landed a small Tiger, a Brook, a small cut and had a nice size cuthroat on the line and he threw it off just as I got him to the bank. All in all, a great day before the storms hit. That is beautiful country. They may be just finishing by now. Glad to hear about the water levels up there. That is encouraging. [signature] |
