Today was one of those days that you just get frustrated with the multi "Billion" Willow Flies floating on the surface that keeps the Bull Shad from working properly. When we did find an area that we were able to fish it effectively, "WOW" at the action that would start! My client/friend that I had today got to experience just how hard these fish will attack our Bull Shad Swimbaits. We both were able to catch a few decent fish early on the swimbait, "but" the couple that we had to hit and miss were exceptionally "huge"! When the laughter and the shakes settled down we then went to some deeper grass lines and started swimming Choo Choo Lures jigs and even with the hot and calm conditions we got on some more good quality fish. It was another one of those "Big-G" days that you really hate to see come to an end, but after the sweat started pouring off our faces we called it an early day. Catch a good-un, take a pic, and turn it back! Get out and have fun. Mike Carter
