Tried the bar today, I was surprised the lake was clear and not really up after all the rain. I had planned to run up river and flip bushes but the lake hadn't come up like I thought it would, while graphing some flats and ledges the water started churning everywhere, I started throwing a sexy dawg and had a blast! I'm not sure how many whitebass rockfish and bass i caught in the breaks but I stayed with them over an hour or more.the rockfish and bass were small but I caught some big white bass. Bass fishing was really slow, I tried humps and points and a ledge or two with only a few slicks. Fished a roadbed in 12ft of water and got one pushing 4lbs on a crankbait. That was it for that spot. Went to a favorite dock and flipped up one over 5 on a pit boss and got another short fish and missed one. Went deep again, got hot and went to the ramp! Not a banner day but 2 good fish made it worth the drive!
