Kingfish, Chickamauga Lake, "Noogastrong" Crappie TX, 8-16-2015, Tim - FishNews - 08-23-2015 Tim Blaylock and I fished the "Noogastrong" Chattanooga Crappie Club Tournament this morning. Beautiful morning. Almost felt like Fall temps/weather. Wishful thinking...by noon it was getting hot!!<br /><br /><br />The 6:30 am blast off for charity crappie tourney for the families of our fallen military heroes. Good fundraiser for a great cause!<br /><br />The water was warm. Water temps any where from 80* to 84*. Some fishermen caught 20 to 25 Crappie in the half day of fishing. Tim and I were fortunate to catch 3 decent keepers.<br /><br />The crappie we caught were deep. BGBS in chartreuse was a good color today. Esp. if you were in the right area! Obviously we weren't in the right spot! Ha, Ha!<br /><br />
