Arrived about 9:30 a.m, at the Dayton ramp. Headed North looking for Moon island. Fished both sides with only one 2 lb. Bass to show for it. He hit a Cordell Red-fin. Had a smaller bass on but lost him at the boat. He chased a big buzz bait but even the trailer hook didn't help. Nice blow up on a Zara Spook. That's it for 4 hour trip. Blue Bird day, and the worst times (according to my fishing app) to fish. Still, any day on the water is a great day for me.
