Henrys lodging help - drowning_flys - 11-06-2015 We usually stay at the wild rose but there prices doubled this year and there simply not worth 180 a night whats some other options ? Looking at the drift lodge. stayed at Macks inn once and and that was a disaster. I've driven through Island Park Ina pure white out blizzard and then when you get over the divide it's just snowing. Plus in West there are places to eat! And Connies restaurant is a halh a block away . There is lake Side lodge , but its about the same distance as West Yellowstone . We fish the evening then get hungry and board about 6:00PM. That is when we head to West to eat. Then we make our way back to camp on the ice for the early morning bite. It really doesn't take long to get back and forth from West Yellowstone and as others have said there are more dining options.
