Sledding/tubing hills close to Treasure Valley? - 1idahoguy - 11-06-2015 As winter approaches, with the prospect (HOPE!) of lots of snow this year, I was wondering if anyone here knows of a good, long hill for sledding and tubing? Not one that you have to pay to use (i.e. Bogus Basin's tubing hill), but one on land that is free and open to the public. I've lived in the Boise area almost 20 years, and I haven't found a good hill. I now have 3 young 'uns who absolutely loves to play in the white stuff. I'm willing to drive an hour or so to get to a good spot. The area around Anderson Ranch has a lot of wide open hillsides. Are there any places up there? Someplace with more wide open hillsides. [signature] |
