I did a little survey of some lakes near Preston on tuesday. Johnson was 3 inches at the dam but to thin everywhere else, Lamont was ice free, Foster was not safe yet but should be soon, Condie was 4 inches at the turn around on the north side caught a couple dink perch, Treasureton was 4 to 6 inches of good ice.

Twin Lakes has around three and a half inches around the shore, but is really thin in spots. Be careful. Fishing was very slow. I guess so much for no boats on there all fall.
