Any one know if bear lake has ice? Do you think it might freeze up like it did a couple years ago?

Highly doubt it will have ice for a couple weeks yet, if it gets any this year. You can tune into the UDOT web site and try the traffic cam and see the lake in the background and tell if it's frozen. Most years if the lake freezes it's lucky to make it by the Cisco run the third week in January. I hope it will freeze but I'll take what we get. Later J

There is a report on the Utah board. No big ice yet just parts and pieces of it are freezing..

Looks to me like there is a lot of ice forming in front of that camera. As long as the winds don't kick up I bet it will cap. Once the lake is capped the wind will have to really blow in order to break it up.

I just want to go hit it again on ice. Last time it was froze was 2012 or 2011 can't remember for sure could have been 2013 dunno but I remember it had 16 inches of ice the one time I went.
