MP 1-12 - TT600 - 01-13-2016
I had hoped to get in one more open water trip to Jordanelle. However after starting the hike down to the south side from the dam overlook I decided climbing back up the hill without snowshoes would be a little tougher than prudent. So began my first ever trip to the Provo below the dam.
I found the deeper holes had a good amount of 10-15" browns and landed three on silver minnow type lures. Saw a few larger ones but no bites from them. I tried fishing the faster water without any luck.
The main part of Jordanelle still has a good amount of open water but unless you have an airboat no way to get to it. The arms are frozen.
