Willard This Afternoon - gofish - 04-22-2016
My brother and I are heading to Willard this afternoon. We plan on fishing from the banks as I have been slow to get my boat "de-winterized". I've heard it has been good recently. We plan to use muscles fished on a catfish type rig with a barrel sinker and swivel. Any last minute suggestions or tips would be appreciated. Neither of us have fished for wipers this way or from the bank before. Please enlighten us. Thanks.

I have had better results by suspending the mussel under a bobber rather than directly on bottom. One of you should try that and the other fish on bottom to see where the wipers are feeding.
