Decided to play hookie from work and hit the lake today. Hit the water at 7am and fished til 2:45pm, tried to keep it in tourney hours. Caught about 25 with a limit that went just under 12lbs total. Not a big bag but did have two nice healthy 3lbers. Everyone of them came off a shallow timber about 5' deep. All on shad pattern cranks, rattle traps, and chatter baits. Nothing touched a worm or jig.
