ririe smallmouth? - clintryan - 07-14-2016 I was wondering how the smallmouth bass bite was at Ririe Reservoir was. If anyone could give a few pointers on where and what time of day. any help would be great unless this time of year or the smallmouth population isn't that good. I like to fish first light or last light before and after the recreational boating gets fired up. I have done my best with green curly tail worms or a texas rigged worm anywhere where there is rocky structure. The population is good and the fish seem to average between 7" and 12" with some a lot bigger occasionally. Don't be afraid to throw a topwater bait or fly. It can get really exciting....
