Hike In Deewp Nymphing - flygoddess - 07-27-2016

Been hitting a local lake that is a bit of a hike down to the water and a little more challenging coming back up the hill with afternoon wind and legs that have been kicking all morning.
Love these boats. Predator 8' long and weigh 14 lbs.
Even this old girl can handle that.
My hubby is 6'4" and weighs around 230.

Thanks for the nice pics, FG.
I also enjoy lightweight versions of boats, even for close by, drop in locations. I think more fishermen will go to lightweight inflatables in the future and that they will continue to get lighter as newer materials are used for construction. Smaller float tubes are my preference because they can be carried to remote locations with backstraps while inflated- if the terrain permits. Lightweight tubes/toons are more fisherman friendly and comfortable than pack rafts, in my experience.
