Hyrum? - punkinhead - 07-31-2016

I'm taking a buddy to Hyrum Monday, went out a couple months ago and killed um. Has anybody been out lately? Thanks for the help. [Smile]

Had a 10-boat/20 guys club tourney there three weeks ago. S-l-o-w and tough. Winner had only 4 fish. Lots of one-zies, two-zies and blanks for over half the field.
And some of these same guys had killed 'em the week or two previous. Was hot & windy that day, plus lots of tuna boats, etc. Best fish in 10-17'. Two extremes: small drop-shot baits or large worms.

I would fish at first or last light if you can. Seems most of my better fish and faster action comes at dusk this time of year. I don't fish Hyrum, but I fish various waters just over the border and occasionally Mantua, and I've found it to be the case at all of them.
