My "GOSH" the wind was doing a number on the lake today. We were able to catch a few fish despite the wind and white caps. We started out early with topwater and had 0 bites, but went to some deeper areas and was able to connect with a few on Choo Choo Football Jigs and 3/4oz.Producer Swimbaits. We were also able to get a few solid fish to connect with Choo Choo Swim Jigs around some deeper grass areas later in the day. The wind made a slow bite a lot tougher but had a "blast" grinding it out and catching what we did. Get out and have fun. Mike Carter
