Willard Wipers and Catfish - bamffisher1 - 08-17-2016
I was able to fish Willard yesterday afternoon and boated 6 wipers trolling. one a little over 21" also I caught a catfish trolling first catfish I ever caught while I was trolling The 1st picture is of the catfish and shows the 2 lures I caught all the fish on. Another Great day at Willard[fishon]

It looks like first thing in the morning, or latter in the afternoon are the right times to fish, if you want wipers. I fished there yesterday till 11 then moved it was slow for us.

I tried to fish deep but rattle traps don't go deep with out help.

Welcome to the Willard Catfish Club. First place I ever caught a Cat on a lure also. And one of those lures, the Fire Tiger, has been one of my most productive ones this year.
