Fly fishing Lake Powell? - Flyfishinglover - 09-28-2016
In 2 week's I'm going to be heading down to Lake powell on the Page, Arizona side so I'm curious what are the best flies around this time of the year?
I really want to catch my first striper on a fly rod but it's not going to be the first one I've caught [
]. I know for sure we will probably be around rainbow bridge section.Thanks for any info.

Salt water streamers. Clousers with big eyes, silver and blue, sinking line. Be patient, let it sink, I mean really sink, till it's almost vertical, then strip back in.
If you are in a boil you can be shallower, but depth will be your biggest challenge.
