Name the Boat, Win a Prize - Fish_Utah_Bob - 12-02-2016

Well, it's a bit cold to take my boat out, and the ice is not solid yet, so I was looking for something interesting to do. It dawned on me that I have yet to name my boat which I will be hauling up to Alaska in the spring. Most boats in Alaska have clever names. If you provide the winning name, a somewhat marginal prize will be yours.

Names already submitted by my kids include:
- Ship for brains
- Red Herring
- Empty Wallet
Not a winner in the bunch yet. See attached photo of the boat in question.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions...

watch out for TopH20. He'll come up with a real doozy of a name that you won't be able to pass up! You're wife might not like it, but it will stick!

Heppy Hooker took the prize on my boat name.

Will your boat reside in Alaska? Or are you just taking it up for a vacation / fishing trip?

How 'bout: Nerka

Bobbing Around

Bobber Afloat

Bob and Wave

Mind Adrift

Or, like Captain Eddie's boat in Non Sequitor, "Anoesis" (which is deliciously intellectual.)

Won't a boat that size be a minnow in Alaska?

If so I'd go with:

NanoHook of the North.

Just received another name, "Reverse Mortgage". It might help the kids understand why their inheritance may not be as big as expected...LOL.
