Echo on a Holiday

Went up to hit the ice at Echo this morning. Arrived at 7:00 A.M. minus 8 degrees. We managed a few perch and about half were nice sized. Fished in 37 feet of water. Saw trout cruising thru off and on but couldnt get any interest from them. I only managed 10 perch missed another 20. It was nice outside even though the temp when we left was only 14 degrees. Being a holiday we had about 2,000 new best friends there with us. Slower than I hoped but still nice getting out.

Nice...a buddy of mine drove by and took a pic of all the tents and sent it to me...I probably have a picture of you...haha! It looked crowded.

We were there today too. Got on a little before you guys I guess. It was a slow day for us as well.
